Our vineyards Ungerberg, Salzberg, Schafleiten, and Satz count
among the best sites in Gols. All of our vineyards are south
and southeast facing towards Lake Neusiedl. This large shallow
body of water creates a unique and advantageous microclimate
and gives our wine area its name: Neusiedlersee.
The soils vary
from light, sandy clay to calcareous, shelly, weathered soils.
Special attention is given to matching the
vines, rootstocks, and soils for the optimal symbiosis: a
prerequisite for high quality wines.
