Heideboden is a major vineyard site which extends from the eastern shore of the lake, the “Neusiedlersee”, to the north, is confined by the Wagram and stretches out as far as the Hungarian border. Here, one often finds sandy soil permeated with top soil and partially with lime. In general, one might say that Heideboden yields fruity red and white wines with an intermediate amount of tannin. We cultivate the vineyard sites Eroffäcker, Edelgrund, Langer Acker, Wiesäcker, Söllnerschranken and Schmalgründe.
Edelgrund is cropped with the vine variety Riesling and predominantly provides wines with natural sweetness like Auslese, Beerenauslese, ice wines as well as Trockenbeerenauslese.
The grapes for Blaufränkisch Heideboden come from Eroffäcker and Langer Acker.
Zweigelt, Heideboden and Zechun come from the sites Wiesäcker, Söllnerschranken and Schmalgründe.
